6 Week Studies
These are 6-week guides for small groups to pray together with Scripture (lectio divina). They rely on Jesus to do the heavy lifting of leading the group, and aim for transformation of heart (not just transfer of information). Your small group can include friends, neighbors, co-workers, or even your children and their friends.

Small Group Leader Training
The video below is a training for small group leaders as a part of the Live Lent Together small group initiative.
Live Lent Together is an initiative that equips parishioners to lead a 6-week small group for Lent. Each small group leader will pray for and invite friends, neighbors, co-workers, or family members to gather for prayer and discussion with Scripture.
Live Lent Together provides new leaders with a first step into mission and helps experienced leaders to persevere in living the mission. It can help all participants experience a deeper encounter with the Lord.
May training opportunities will be available across the Archdiocese from late-January to early-February. Urban and rural parishes will serve as host sites where leaders from any parish in the Archdiocese can register to be trained. There will also be one training for Hispanic leaders and two Zoom trainings.
The training is for people who desire to lead a small group during Lent.
Here on this website! Please see above for a link to the registration which opens on December 1st.
No, however, we highly recommend the training if you have never lead a Live Lent Together small group before. If you have lead a Live Lent Together small group, we highly recommend you invite a friend to lead with you and attend the training together.
If you have attended the training and lead a Live Lent Together small group in the past, we highly encourage you to use this year as an opportunity to invite another person to co-lead a small group with you and attend the the training together.
Many small groups will want to continue meeting beyond Lent. They can use a variety of resources to continue growing as disciples. Please see the list of additional small group resources linked below.
