Music in Catholic Schools Benefit Dance

The Marriage vow includes the question: Will you accept children lovingly from God and bring them up according to the law of Christ and the Church? We present our children to the Lord in Baptism, because our child belongs to the Lord. We are chosen to procreate children, nurture them with nutrition, faith, and love and then offer them to God. This hour includes the recitation of the Rosary and availability of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Celtic Notes & Anecdotes: A Night with Fr. Ryan Duns, SJ

Join Jesuit friends and alumni for an evening of Irish music as we countdown to St. Patrick’s Day. Father Ryan Duns, SJ, Associate Professor of Theology at Marquette University, will entertain guests with his Irish tin whistle and storytelling. After earning his PhD from Boston College in 2018, Fr. Duns came to Marquette where he teaches a wide array of courses. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, where he learned to play Irish music on both the tin whistle and piano accordion. He continues to teach tin whistle lessons on YouTube and regularly plays the accordion at Irish dancing competitions.
