Join us each month as we pray the rosary and then attend the 11:15 am Mass. Following Mass, we will pray the litanies and offer confession.

This course will begin with an introduction to the gospel and various key themes. We will then take time to look at certain passages in greater depth: The Prologue, the Wedding at Cana, Nicodemus, the Woman at the Well, the Raising of Lazarus, and the Washing of the Feet among others. We will discover why some scholars call this, "the Gospel of Divine Intimacy." Know Your Faith is a collection of short courses where Catholics can learn about the Catholic Faith at the basic level. Whether it is the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Sacred Scripture, Liturgy, the Saints or so much more, these 6-8 week classes presented by an instructor for the Evangelium Institute are entry-level presentations to help deepen our knowledge and enliven our faith. No prior knowledge is required, and the classes are meant to include open discussion as well as lecture.

Ixim: Spirit of Solidarity – Join Us on Mission
Since 2004, parishioners from across the Archdiocese of Omaha have gone to our sister diocese in Huehuetenango, Guatemala to work alongside our sisters and brothers in Christ. Ixim missionaries build bridges of understanding and solidarity by learning about the lives and realities of those in Huehuetenango. Over the years, Ixim missionaries have staffed medical clinics, taught lessons at local schools, applied fluoride treatments to children, assisted with reforestation projects, painted parish and school buildings, and helped implement clean water projects. Our 19th trip will be June 13 – June 23, 2024. Learn more about our mission trip at an upcoming information meeting:

Become a FOCCUS Certified Facilitator by attending training at the Chancery. By the end of training, you will be certified in FOCCUS and REFOCCUS.

The Serra Club of West Omaha invites you to a special Holy Hour to Pray for Vocations. We will gather at 6:30 PM for guests to meet our Serrans and then begin the Holy Hour in the Chapel at 7:00 PM. Father Frank Baumert and Father Toby Letak will preside the Holy Hour using the very special Serra International traveling monstrance that was blessed by Pope Saint John Paul II. After the Holy Hour we will gather in the Karol Commons area with students and attendees for a social mixer. Light refreshments will be provided. All are welcome!

Come away to the quiet and be present to what God wants to offer you. This silent directed retreat offers daily mass, confession upon request, a daily session with a spiritual director and lodging for three nights in a quiet wooded atmosphere about one hour east of Omaha. Your spiritual director will listen to where you are in your spiritual journey and offer you suggestions for prayer daily. Ends January 21 at 3 PM.

Keynote speaker, Melissa Ohden, will highlight the evening and share her message of inspiration as a survivor of abortion. Ohden is the Founder of the Abortion Survivors Network, the only healing and advocacy organization for abortion survivors world-wide and the Education and Policy Center, which impacts policy issues relating to abortion and abortion survivors.

The St. Vincent de Paul Guild is excited to host the second annual Morning of Reflection. We are thrilled to have keynote speaker, Katie Sciba, who will share her presentation, "Simple and Sanctified." Katie Sciba is an internationally sought speaker, retreat writer, and nine-time Catholic Press Award-winning columnist. There will be a light breakfast, followed by the keynote presentation, music by Hannah Keisling, and reflection time. Please RSVP by Wednesday, January 17, by following the link below.
