This hour includes the recitation of the Holy Rosary and availability of the Sacrament of Reconciliation if a priest is available.

TEC is a spiritual movement for older teens and young adults.

It begins with a retreat weekend filled with dynamic reflections, music, sacraments, adoration, small group dialogue, and prayer. Afterwards, the TEC community evolves into a network of support that both reinforces parish involvement and personal spiritual growth.

TEC leads participants to integrate Christ’s Paschal Mystery (dying, rising, and going forth) at a time of passage through young adulthood.

The retreat begins April 11 at 9 a.m. and ends April 13 at 6 p.m.

Join us for a faith-centered conversation about planning for serious illness and end-of-life care that will help individuals and families document their wishes so loved ones are not left guessing.

Seek and Share the Joy Retreat

Dr. Karen Dwyer will lead “Seek and Share the Joy” at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2110 South 32nd Avenue, from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
Karen is a retired award-winning university professor, inspirational speaker and author of 10 books. Karen hosts the Catholic podcasts, founder of St. Elena Prayer Rooms, former coordinator of Magnificat-Omaha, Board of Directors for KVSS Spirit Catholic Radio, National Mission Advisory Council for Institute for Priestly Formation, prayer group leader and Bible study teacher 25 years.
“Seek and Share the Joy” Retreat is sponsored by the Friends-of-Nuns and will benefit the Daughters of Mary and the Ad Gentes Missionaries communities of nuns with Mother houses both based in Africa. The retreat is free to the public with a free-will offering during the retreat.

Open to all high schoolers in the Omaha archdiocese, Newman Night is a chance to hang out with over 100 other high school students and get a preview of what college is like.

Come to the St. John Paul II Newman Center on Wednesday, April 22, for adoration, games, talks from Newman Center students, and some fun treats. We can't wait to see you there! Check-in is from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m., and the event goes until 9:00 p.m.

St. Philip Neri-Blessed Sacrament Parish in North Omaha will be hosting Spirit Catholic Radio’s The Man of the Shroud exhibit from April 16-30 in the Parish Center, 8200 N. 30th Street.

The display is free to view as follows: Sunday, April 26 - 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
The exhibit features 42 beautiful panels that present a visual reminder of the power, history and science behind the Shroud of Turin. This powerful exhibit features beautifully-designed panels that will raise the questions, “Could the Shroud be the most important archaeological artifact ever found?” and “Does it provide clues to what happened during the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus?”

St Philip Neri-Blessed Sacrament Parish will have an up-close experience of the most studied artifact of all time – The Shroud of Turin, what many believe to be the authentic burial cloth of Christ.

The Man of the Shroud exhibit will include 42 beautifully-designed panels on display in the SPN-BS Parish Center. This exhibit will raise the questions, “Could the Shroud be the most important archaeological artifact ever found? Does it provide clues to what happened during the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus?”

On Tuesday, April 28, at 7:00 PM, Shroud expert, Jim Bertrand, M.Ed., of the American Confraternity of the Holy Shroud, will give a special presentation and a rare viewing of a Shroud replica.

Each year, the Catholic Business Group has a luncheon to honor people in business with the Leading With Faith Award.

All are invited to come celebrate a mother’s love at the Mothers’ Shrine on the Feast Day of Mary, Mother of the Church, on Saturday, May 25, 2026, beginning at 1:00 p.m. in Laurie, Missouri.

Bishop Ralph O’Donnell of the Diocese of Jefferson City will preside at the Mass, which will begin with the Crowning of the Blessed Mother sculpture, followed by Holy Mass celebrated in the Shrine.

The celebration will conclude with the unveiling of the newest mothers’ names lovingly engraved on the Mothers’ Wall of Life, including the name of Bishop O’Donnell’s own mother and the mother of Pope Leo XIV.

Knights of Columbus from councils across Missouri, along with the Knights and Dames of the Holy Sepulchre, and other groups will be present to add to the solemnity of worship and the honor given to Mary and all mothers.

Knights of Columbus will host a fundraiser lunch in St. Leo Hall following Holy Mass. R.S.V.P. for lunch by May 13.
