St. Columbkille Parish is welcoming 2 dynamic speakers-Luana Stoltenberg and Gina Tomes to kick off Respect Life Month.
Luana Stoltenberg is the author of the book Singing in the Wilderness based on her journey from addiction and traumatic events to finding the healing power of Christ. Luana’s heart is to show the love and mercy of Christ, by telling people how the Lord picked her up from a life of drugs, alcohol and abortions, and placed her on his lap of grace.

Since 1991 Gina Tomes has spearheaded and empowered individuals and human services pro-life programming and housing for women who are pregnant, homeless, experiencing crisis and choose life. Gina had the honor of speaking at the 2023 March for Life in Washington DC. Gina is a St. Columbkille parishioner.

Learn how to pray with others! Jesus wants to stir up in us a thirst for souls. He wants us to stop looking at our watches, smartphones, and devices and see the people around us and their needs.

Praying with others allows Jesus’s life to flow through us to others, but a lot of us aren't familiar or comfortable with praying like that. We are offering the perfect opportunity to do just that with this one-evening session on Praying with Others. Deacon Tim McNeil, Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Omaha will present.   Light refreshments provided!

Each Saturday in October, the Knights of Columbus will dedicate the Rosary prayed before the 5:30 Mass for the intention of religious vocations in the Church.

Meet on the north side of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (rain or shine) for the Holy Rosary and coffee at Scooters. Return to St. Wenceslaus in time for 8:30 a.m. Mass. Intentions - including the Archdiocese of Omaha's October Rosary Rally for Vocations - are always welcome.

 As some of you may know, October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. On behalf of Catholic Charities, I invite you to join us in a Prayer Service in Honor of Survivors of Domestic Violence on Friday, October 20^th at 10am at our St Teresa of Calcutta Campus. This event will include remarks from Catholic Charities leadership, Domestic Violence Advocates, and testimonies from survivors we served. We provide hope daily, and help survivors make their voice heard – because to stop the violence, we must continue the conversation.
