The Porn Epidemic Conference

The goal is to educate and increase awareness of human trafficking in the three state (Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska) Siouxland region. The Coalition has become increasingly alarmed about the prevalence of pornography and the impact it is having on our community, our children and the relationship to sex trafficking in particular. We are very pleased and excited to announce that Dr. Josh McDowell and Ben Bennett will be in Sioux City, Iowa April 25 and April 27, 2020 to speak on “The Porn Epidemic.” Dr. McDowell will provide an overview of the problem for the general public on Saturday evening, April 25, 2020, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and he will conclude by 8:30 p.m. He will also be speaking on Monday, April 27, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. This day will be more in-depth and geared to ministers, social workers, medical personnel, and other professionals who encounter pornography addiction in their line of work. Both days are open to the general public.

Also, we have room for a limited number of information tables outside the Gallery where Josh will be speaking for individuals and organizations to share about the work they are doing and to offer resources to those attending the event. The work that you are doing through your PATH group is so important. There is no charge for the tables, and you are welcome to reserve a table for either day or both days. As you’ll see from the website, the charge for the event is very minimal, as we’d like to encourage as many people as possible to come. Information tables will be available on a first come, first serve basis, so if you would like to reserve one, please let me know at your earliest convenience.
