The Most Reverend Michael McGovern, Archbishop of Omaha, will celebrate a Mass for Suicide Loss Survivors on Sunday, November 2, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Omaha at 2 p.m.

The Archdiocese of Omaha is offering this Mass of Remembrance for those who have died by suicide. Attendees are welcome to bring a photo of their loved one to be placed in the sanctuary.

The details and impact of the recently enacted federal tax legislation – also known as the "One Big Beautiful Tax Bill" – will be presented and discussed at a workshop on Saturday morning, November 15, at 8:30 A.M. at Roncalli Catholic High School, 6401 Sorenson Parkway in Omaha.

Many, many changes have been made with regard to taxes and financial planning and many of them are welcome changes and new legislation that many people will actually find beneficial.

The program begins with Mass at 8:30 A.M. followed by a light brunch and the workshop program.

Individuals and families seeking the intercession of St. Peregrine, the patron saint of those dealing with cancer, are invited to a special Mass celebrated for those who are ill and their loved ones on the third Saturday of every month.

Join the Serra Club of West Omaha for a beautiful Holy Hour for to Pray for Priests and Seminarians at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1248 S. 10th Street in Omaha.

We will gather at 5:30 PM in the Narthex followed by the Holy Hour at 6:00 PM. The Presider will be Father Tom Weisbecker, Chaplain of the Serra Club of West Omaha.

Our priests are chosen by God to bring us the Sacraments which help us gain Heaven. Without them, we would not be able to worship at Holy Mass and receive Jesus in the Eucharist. Through our prayers, Priests and Seminarians can be strengthened to live their vocation well and as God calls them to live it—in a way that is holy and pleasing to Him.

You can catch Peter weekday mornings from 6:30-6:45 am CT for “Fire on the Earth” and hear Rachel weekday mornings from 6:45-7 am CT for

Rachel Herbeck is currently the Director of Young Adult Discipleship for Renewal Ministries. She also hosts a daily podcast/radio program called "Burning Hearts," where she draws on Scripture to encourage listeners to ask “What is God saying to me? What am I doing about it?” She holds a BA in Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas (in St. Paul, Minnesota). Rachel has a passionate heart for youth and young adult ministry, and has spoken at retreats, conferences, and events across the U.S. and Canada.

Peter Herbeck serves as Executive Vice President & Director of Missions at Renewal Ministries. He’s been deeply involved in evangelization and Catholic renewal efforts for over 30 years, ministering across the U.S., Canada, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Asia. He hosts the daily radio program “Fire on the Earth,” bringing thoughtful biblical reflections, interviews, and inspiration to listeners. He has authored books such as "When the Spirit Comes in Power" and "When the Spirit Speaks," and has produced numerous booklets, CDs, and conference materials on discipleship and life in the Spirit. Educationally, Peter holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN) and an M.A. in Theology from Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit, Michigan.
