Respecting human dignity at our nation’s borders

Statement from the Archdiocese of Omaha:

Separating babies from their mothers is not the solution to securing our borders. There must be zero tolerance for using children as objects of deterrence. To use them in such a way is immoral and displays a lack of respect for their human dignity.

What is occurring at our borders highlights the urgent need for lawmakers to unite behind comprehensive immigration reform rooted in the principles of justice. Join us in praying for a just solution to this ongoing problem in our nation.
