The 15th Annual Strawberry Brunch is a fundraiser for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha's downtown Food Pantry. Doors open at 10:00 am.

Brunch attendees will have the opportunity to bid on donated auction and raffle items. Chicken salad on croissants and related "brunch" items will be served.

Deadline for table registration and auction item donation is May 1, 2024.

Starting with Mass at 9:30 a.m., the Corpus Christi Procession will follow.
This will be a 30-40 minute prayer filled slow walk on a level surface (less than a mile).

Cake and ice cream fellowship following.

Game, food, beer garden, raffle, book sale, craft booth, silent auction and much more.

Theme: Sacrament of Sacrifice (Feast of Corpus Christi) Reflection: During Mass, the Priest confers, but we offer ourselves to God. Cardinal Arinze expresses how God loves each one of us by name. Reflection on the life of Pope John Paul II and his courage which is an example for our lives. God sees in each of us the person that we can be in overcoming our weaknesses.

The Serra Clubs of Omaha and West Omaha will host their Annual Golf, Tennis & Pickleball Outing, followed by a cocktail hour, dinner, and awards at The Pines Country Club in Valley on Monday, June 3 (best ball format) with registration beginning at 11:00 AM. Tennis and Pickleball will both be at Genesis Westroads at 3:00 PM. All proceeds received support the vocations programs of the Archdiocese of Omaha. Early registrations are welcome!

St. Margaret Mary Parish in Omaha is hosting a special Sacred Heart Devotion on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This year the Solemnity falls on the First Friday of June. SMM is offering Mass followed by Eucharistic Adoration for this holy alignment. Daily Mass at 6:30am with Exposition, Adoration and Benediction 7am-10am. Come for all or part of this devotion.

Join us each month as we pray the rosary and then attend the 11:15 am Mass. Following Mass, we will pray the litanies and offer confession.

We invite you to join us on Saturday, June 8 at St. Gerald, for our Missionary Discipleship retreat: "Listening to God." Here you will get the chance to explore and practice some ways to pray, listen, and discern the voices of the Lord using the teachings of St. Ignatius of Loyola and Ignatian Spirituality. The retreat will have several talks, time for personal prayer and reflection, as well as times of sharing and fellowship. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Sacred Heart Church in Olean is celebrating its 150-year anniversary. Mass begins at 2 p.m. followed by dinner.

Individuals and families seeking the intercession of St. Peregrine, the patron saint of those dealing with cancer, are invited to a special Mass celebrated for those who are ill and their loved ones on the third Saturday of every month.

Our guest speaker is Patti Gallagher Mansfield, a participant in the historic “Duquesne Weekend,” which marked the beginning of the Charismatic Renewal in the Catholic Church. Author of five books, she has ministered at conferences for laity and priests, proclaiming the grace of the Baptism of the Spirit on five continents.
