The Holy Ghost/St. Bernadette Parishes’ Lenten Mission will be held from Saturday, Feb. 28, through Monday, March 2.

Our mission will be led by Deacon Patrick Simons who has spoken at many events at parishes across Omaha and our rural communities, the St. Benedict Retreat Center in Schuyler and heard on Spirit Catholic Radio. Come join us as we explore the life of St. Maximilian Kolbe, his devotion to Mary, his martyrdom and finally how we can grow in holiness according to Mary.

The daily events include:

Saturday, February 28
Holy Ghost Church – 5:00 p.m.
Mass directly followed by Deacon Simon’s first talk:
"Mary’s Soldier: The Life of St. Maximilian Kolbe and His Deep Devotion to Mary"

Sunday, March 1
Gross Catholic H. S. Auditorium – 3:30 p.m.
Viewing of the movie "Triumph of the Heart" followed by:
A reflection and discussion led by Deacon Simons.

Monday, March 2
St. Bernadette Parish Hall – 6:30 p.m.
Deacon Simons will pull it all together in his final talk:
"Full of Grace: How to Grow in Holiness According to Mary"
