Lenten Bible Study: The True Presence: Prefigured in the Old Testament, Fulfilled in the New Testament

A journey through the Bible to find His True Presence…

In the fall of 2022, the compiler of this study was attending a silent Ignatian retreat when she felt the call from the Lord to begin a study on Jesus’ True Presence in the Eucharist. In June 2022, the National Eucharistic Revival had begun as a three-year process leading up to the Eucharistic Congress in 2024, and she felt that she could help contribute to this national revival with this study.

She took the opportunity to gather many Scripture passages, Saint quotes, and Catechism of the Catholic Church references to assemble a full picture of why we, as Catholics, truly believe that Jesus gave us His Body as true food and Blood as true drink.

The study will be on Thursdays, beginning March 6 and ending April 10.
