End of Life Through the Lens of Faith: 'Caregiving at the End of Life: Palliative Care, Hospice, and the Dying Process'

Dr. Todd Sauer, a Palliative Care and Hospice physician with almost 20 years of experience, will explain what is entailed in palliative care and hospice care, and who qualifies for these services. He will discuss Advance Directives and choosing a health care power of attorney. Finally, Dr. Sauer will describe what to expect in the dying process. Lunch provided. No RSVP required.

Dr. Sauer is currently the Medical Director for the Palliative Medicine Program at Nebraska Methodist Hospital as well as the Medical Director for Methodist Fremont Health Hospice.
