Archbishop Lucas in Uganda, part 4: Visiting a refugee camp

Update from Archbishop Lucas – 7/23/17

On Sunday we visited Bidibidi, a refugee camp in northern Uganda. 60,000 South Sudanese refugees live in this one section, Zone 5. An important CRS project here is teaching and promoting proper sanitation.

CRS organizes and provides some pay for refugees to work building sanitary latrines. In the background of the pictures below, you can see the construction of a prototype of a more substantial dwelling. They plan to build several hundred after getting feedback from those who will occupy them.
