Archbishop McGovern invites faithful to join Pope Leo’s Prayer Vigil for Peace

The Most Reverend Michael McGovern shared the following message inviting the faithful to pray for peace on April 11, 2026:

Dear Friends,

Pope Leo XIV has invited Catholics and all people of good will to join him in a Prayer Vigil for Peace this Saturday, April 11th.

I warmly encourage you to unite with our Holy Father and to pray fervently for peace in our world. Whether you do so virtually, at your parishes, or in the quiet of your home, please join me in asking the Lord to grant the gift of peace to our waiting world.
