Camp Virtus et Veritas is a Catholic summer camp for boys entering 6th grade through 9th grade in the fall. It lasts for 7 days, 6 nights and is held at Camp Kateri Tekakwitha in McCool Junction, Nebraska. The camp is full of fun, personal growth, and spiritual development.
Hope Nebraska is a new, five-day mission trip for high school students entering 10-12 grades in the fall of 2018 and May 2018 graduating seniors. We will serve at St. Augustine Indian Mission in Winnebago, NE in partnership with Hope of the Poor.
This program is replacing the Youth Serve Sessions that have been offered in past years. The Youth Ministry Office has asked/invited CMD to hold a session of Just5Days in Omaha, and is encouraging parishes to participate.
What is J5D?Just5days is a five-day service mission for middle school youth and their adult leaders providing a hands-on service experience, faith learning, community prayer, and summertime fun.
RegistrationParticipants register through their Catholic parish or school as part of a team. Youth cannot register as individuals. Registration is handled directly through CMD and is on a first come first served basis until the Omaha site is full (approximately 75-80 spots available).
To register your team, please call Nancy Flint at (253) 853-5422 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org. An initial non-refundable deposit of $50.00 per person will reserve the spaces for your team.

The National Catholic Youth Conference is an exciting, biennial three-day experience of prayer, community, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers and their adult chaperones. The schedule includes keynote addresses and workshop sessions addressing a wide variety of topics. There are also opportunities for liturgy, reconciliation, prayer and worship, recreation and special activities such as concerts, exhibits, and the interactive thematic park.
Steubenville Mid-America Conference (Week 1)
The Steubenville Youth Conference is a three-day experience consisting of music, keynote speakers, small group time, breakout sessions, Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, fellowship, and fun!
The majority of the conference takes place in a large-group setting, but teens will also spend time in small groups of 7-8 people of the same gender with at least one adult leader. Some groups may also have a high school-aged junior leader.
What is Teens Encounter Christ?Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) is a three-day retreat for juniors and seniors in high school, as well as college freshmen. This intergenerational movement helps youth transition into young adulthood. TEC draws participants into the heart of the Catholic faith: Christ’s Paschal Mystery (His passion, death, and resurrection) lived out in the Church. The weekend helps youth relate this mystery to the concrete realities of their lives and challenges them to make a deeper commitment to Christ.
TOTUS TUUS (Totally Yours) is a fun and energetic parish based summer catechetical program, for both grade school age children and junior and senior high school youth. We gather together college students and seminarians onto teams of four in order to train them and send them out on the road to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ in various parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Omaha. Their youthfulness, energy, and ability to witness to the Faith make our teachers particularly effective with children and young people.
