What is J5D?

Just5days is a five-day service mission for middle school youth and their adult leaders providing a hands-on service experience, faith learning, community prayer, and summertime fun.

Registration

Participants register through their Catholic parish or school as part of a team. Youth cannot register as individuals. Registration is handled directly through CMD and is on a first come first served basis until the Omaha site is full (approximately 75-80 spots available).

To register your team, please call Nancy Flint at (253) 853-5422 or email her at nancy@cmdnet.org. An initial non-refundable deposit of $50.00 per person will reserve the spaces for your team.

Teens Encounter Christ

What is Teens Encounter Christ?

Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) is a three-day retreat for juniors and seniors in high school, as well as college freshmen. This intergenerational movement helps youth transition into young adulthood. TEC draws participants into the heart of the Catholic faith: Christ’s Paschal Mystery (His passion, death, and resurrection) lived out in the Church. The weekend helps youth relate this mystery to the concrete realities of their lives and challenges them to make a deeper commitment to Christ.

Totus Tuus of Omaha

TOTUS TUUS (Totally Yours) is a fun and energetic parish based summer catechetical program, for both grade school age children and junior and senior high school youth. We gather together college students and seminarians onto teams of four in order to train them and send them out on the road to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ in various parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Omaha. Their youthfulness, energy, and ability to witness to the Faith make our teachers particularly effective with children and young people.
