Seminary Life
When one thinks about seminary life one often conjures up images of a mysterious place far away from home. Nothing could be farther from the truth! The seminary is a vibrant community of men discerning their call to the priesthood. Imagine one hundred seminarians all seeking God’s will, praying in common, celebrating the Eucharist together every day, sharing many of the same joys and struggles, and each of them seeking the priesthood. This is the vital reality of seminary life.

Rosary and Mass with Archbishop Lucas – Pray for Vocations
Monday, August 29th at 5:30 p.m.
The Serra Club of West Omaha invites you to join us for a special Rosary for Vocations followed by a Holy Mass (with music by Grace Giebler) on Monday, August 29, at St. Patrick Church in Gretna (508 W. Angus Street) to pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and consecrated religious life within the Archdiocese of Omaha.
The Rosary will begin at 5:30 PM and Mass is at 6:00 PM. Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop George Lucas, and concelebrated by Rev. Scott Schilmoeller, Archdiocese Vocations Director, and Rev. Frank Baumert, Serra Chaplain.
