Hello, I’m Cole Nardini. I am the youngest of two born to Jim and Cindy Nardini. I have grown up in Omaha all my life, living in the Millard area and belonging to St. Pius X Parish. I went to St. Pius X/ St. Leo School for grade school and to Millard South for high school. After high school, I attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and pursued a degree in Computer Science. During my time there, my secondary focus was campus ministry. I took every opportunity to learn and grow in my faith. The summer after my freshman year, I was a Totus Tuus teacher for the Archdiocese. This experience exposed me to the Liturgy of the Hours and to the experience of being a teacher. This powerful encounter with the Lord and life-giving experience of prayer helped to open my heart to realizing I was called to go to seminary when I had graduated. Through continual prayer in the following years, I figured out that it was truly God’s will. I have heeded that call and am attending Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis. I look forward to being challenged alongside other men to grow through formation and spiritual direction and learn how to live a balanced life of service to the Church.
In my free time I enjoy cooking, reading, and various forms of friendly competition, such as board games, card games, and sports. I also enjoy doing logic puzzles, such as Sudoku and riddles, and making puns.
For those discerning, I would say the things that helped me most were prayer with the blessed sacrament and regularly receiving the sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist. These really helped me to reflect on the previous day/week/month with clarity and to notice where God worked in my life and the impact His works had on my desires. If you pursue Christ, you cannot miss his calling for you.
