Participants register through their Catholic parish or school as part of a team. Youth cannot register as individuals.
Registration is handled directly through CMD and is on a first come first served basis until the Omaha site is full (approximately 75-80 spots available).
To register your team, please call Nancy Flint at 253.853.5422 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org. An initial non-refundable deposit of $50.00 per person will reserve the spaces for your team.
One adult (25 years or older) serves as the team leader. Additional adults must be 21 years or older. Teams are required to have one adult for every five young people registered. Teams with more than seven youth of both genders must have at least one male and one female adult participating in the event.
To promote a safe environment for Just5Days participants, and to be in accordance with the USCCB Charter for the Protection of Children and Youth, the CMD requires all adult participants to have fulfilled all the requirements of their Diocesan Safe Environment training (including a background check).
Each team is responsible for transporting their own youth throughout the week. Teams will NOT transport youth from other parishes or schools. During the day, you may be at one place all day or serve at on place in the morning and a different place in the afternoon. You will be given maps and thorough driving instructions to and from each location, back to the housing site, and to emergency facilities.
