Father Ssonko Fundraiser

5:30pm - 9:00pm
Cost: $50
Support Fr. John Baptist Ssonko and St. Mary's in Busaabala, Uganda.

Our fundraising goal this year is $200,000 to help furnish the classrooms and dormitory, increase security around the school, and provide transportation assistance for the students.

Even if you are unable to attend the dinner and auction, please consider a donation to Invest in Hope: Educate Youth for Brighter Tomorrows. This year's menu features a whole hog! Also new this year, will be a few live and silent auction items that you won't want to miss.

Unfortunately, Fr. Ssonko will not be able to join us because of travel restrictions this year. This means it is even more important that we help support him this summer, since he won't be able to travel to different parishes across the Archdiocese of Omaha as he usually does.

Tickets are now available for purchase. Get a group of your friends together and register for a table today!

Fathers and Sons - Together Forever Retreat (22nd Annual)

8:00am
Cost: $204.76
This weekend – from 8 a.m. Saturday, July 11, to noon on Sunday, July 12 – is about spending quality time together as father and son.

The focus is on the relationship between fathers and their sons in the context of being Catholic. A strong focus is on how to improve communication between fathers and their sons.

There are 30-minute talks followed by one-on-one talking together time. In addition, there is opportunity for prayer, Adoration, Reconciliation, Benediction, and Mass.

In-between these opportunities, there is fathers-against-sons dodgeball, water balloon competition, hayrack ride, and game night. Lastly, there is great all-you-can-eat home cooking!

The common theme for the weekend is "what does it mean to be a Catholic man for both fathers and sons."

Open to sons ages 11-17. We encourage anyone who plays an important part in a boy's life to attend, especially when there is no father present. This includes grandfathers (we have 1 or 2 attend each year), stepfathers, foster fathers, and any man who is an important part of a boy's life. Consider bringing him to the retreat to enhance your relationship and communication with him.

Omaha Encounter Summer Intensive (July 21-24)

6:00pm - 9:00pm
Cost: $75
Early Bird Registration 30% off -- Discount Code: 30

The Encounter Summer Intensive is a four-night immersion where people rediscover their identity as sons and daughters of the Father and are equipped to live the supernatural life of Jesus—hearing His voice, praying for healing, and bringing freedom to others.

The intensive mirrors the first four quarters of the Encounter curriculum:

1. Identity & Transformation
Participants learn the foundation of Christian identity—that believers are sons and daughters of God and are transformed by renewing their minds in Christ.

2. Hearing God & the Prophetic Gifts
Teaching focuses on learning to recognize God’s voice and stepping out in faith through the prophetic gifts of the Holy Spirit.

3. Power & Physical Healing
Participants are trained to pray for healing and grow in confidence that God still works through signs, wonders, and miracles.

4. Inner Healing & Freedom
This session equips people to partner with Jesus in healing emotional wounds and bringing freedom to those who are hurting.

What Happens During the Intensive?

EACH EVENING INCLUDES:
Praise & worship to cultivate awareness of God’s presence
Two teaching sessions on that night’s topic
Activations (practical exercises to apply what was taught)
Prayer ministry where participants pray for one another
Small group interaction and testimonies
These activations are a key part of Encounter’s approach—they help people practice spiritual gifts in a safe environment rather than just hearing teaching about them

WHO IS IT FOR?
The Summer Intensive is designed for people who: Want to grow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, Desire a deeper encounter with God, Are considering joining the full Encounter School, Want practical tools for evangelization, healing, and ministry
Importantly, attending does not require enrolling in the full school—many people attend simply for personal renewal and formation.
