It starts with a stirring … an ache … a longing to withdraw from the everyday routine and grow closer to Our Lord. Our Blessed Mother invites you to visit one of the most spiritual and peaceful places on the planet, a place of spiritual growth and conversion where she still appears today. The visionaries tell us that no one goes to Medjugorje by accident.

You are invited to participate in a life-changing pilgrimage from October 8-20, 2026, to Medjugorje + Shrines of Croatia + Fr. Jozo Retreat (he was the pastor of St. James in Medjugorje when Our Blessed Mother began to appear to the six children in 1981).  Our Spiritual Director is Father Damien Wee, Pastor of Trinity Catholic Parishes in the Archdiocese of Omaha.  Our registered group leader is Jolene Jefferies, Parish Manager of St. Patrick in Gretna.

Please be sure to attend one of our upcoming Medjugorje Pilgrimage Info Meetings: (1) Monday, June 1, 2026, at 6:00 PM at St. Patrick in Gretna in the Parish Center, OR (2) Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 4:00 PM at St. Francis Borgia in Blair in the Parish Center.  Father Wee will attend both meetings. Each meeting will last about 90 minutes.

All are welcome to the upcoming Be Not Afraid Family Holy Hour that will be shared from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Christ The King Catholic Church, 654 So. 86th St. Omaha, NE on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Theme: The Eucharist and Mary

Reflection: No one on earth knew Jesus better than Mary, who gave His human body flesh and blood. She always invites us to be closer to her Son.

This hour includes the recitation of the Rosary and availability of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

The Serra Clubs of Omaha and West Omaha will host their Annual Golf, Tennis & Pickleball Outing, followed by a cocktail hour, dinner, and awards at The Pines Country Club in Valley on Monday, June 8 (best ball format) with Sign-In beginning at 11:00 AM. Tennis will be at Genesis Health Club, and Pickleball will be at ACE Pickleball Club, both starting at 2:00 PM. All proceeds received support the vocations programs of the Archdiocese of Omaha. Early registrations are welcome!

Please join us in adoring the living Heart of Jesus on Thursday, June 11th, from 6:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Friday, June 12th, at St. Margaret Mary Parish at 6116 Dodge Street in Omaha.

We will also have a sign-up in the back of the church for anyone who would like to have their home enthroned to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, along with red hearts to write prayer petitions on the two weekends prior to this event. All petitions will be prayed for during the Adoration Vigil on June 11th and at the Mass and Benediction on June 12th.

On the third Sunday of the month, we coordinate charitable work and support the spiritual growth of our members.

Helping neighbors in need — Members discuss requests for assistance such as rent, utilities, food, transportation, or household items, and decide how to respond.
Reporting on visits and aid — Volunteers share updates from home visits or outreach efforts while respecting people’s privacy and dignity.
Spiritual reflection — Meetings often begin and end with prayer and may include a short reflection tied to Catholic faith and service.

St. Peregrine is the patron saint of cancer and other serious illnesses. This Mass is celebrated on the third Saturday of every month.

Join us on Saturday, June 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the St. Gerald Fellowship Hall (9602 Q Street) for a retreat focused on rediscovering where our true identity and home are found.

Led by nationally-known theologian, author, and speaker Deacon James Keating. Deacon Keating will reflect on what it means to live with greater fidelity, purpose, and courage as Catholic men seeking Christ as the foundation of our lives.

Cost is $25, and a light breakfast and lunch will be served. There will also be an opportunity for Eucharistic Adoration and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Learn more and register at stgerald.org/mensretreat.
