The Holy Spirit leads Fr. Michael Voithofer in Praise & Worship starting at 7p.m. The evening includes a brief teaching, after which JESUS is exposed on the altar, and prayer teams are available in the chapel for people to come in requesting prayer.

Theme: Miraculous Medal

Reflection: We will learn about the fruits of the Miraculous Medal, which was given to Saint Catherine Labouré to share with the world, and we will receive a blessed medal. This hour includes the recitation of the Rosary, availability of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and the Investiture/distribution of the Miraculous Medal.

The Road Ahead (Divorce Group) is for those who have experienced the pain and loneliness of a broken marriage. We welcome newly separated, divorced, and those who struggle years later. The book, “Divorced Catholic, Now What?,” is used to guide discussion.

The group meets weekly on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. The session begins January 8th and will end May 21st.

The St. Joseph Guild of JPII Academy is once again thrilled to host "The Fatherhood Series."

Men of all ages and stages are invited to gather for a hearty breakfast and presentation/discussion on a topic relevant to modern fatherhood. Open to all dads, inside and outside our school community.

St. Peregrine is the patron saint of cancer and other serious illnesses. This Mass is celebrated on the third Saturday of every month.

This event is celebrated by the Filipino community and has its origins going back to the voyages of Magellan (over 500 years ago).

Join the Serra Club of West Omaha on Wednesday, January 21, for a beautiful Holy Hour to Pray for Vocations at the St. John Paul II Newman Center, 1221 S. 71st Street in Omaha, beginning with a brief meet-and-greet in the Karol Commons Student Center at 6:00 PM followed by the Holy Hour at 6:30 PM in the Chapel.

The Presider will be Father Tom Weisbecker, Chaplain of the Serra Club of West Omaha. Together we will pray a Rosary for Vocations before the Blessed Sacrament. We will also recite the Litany for Vocations and spend time in silent adoration as we pray for an increase in vocations throughout the Archdiocese of Omaha.
