It’s time for the Original South O festival! Sts. Peter and Paul will continue its 107-year tradition of celebrating summer by hosting its annual ethnic festival, “The Greatest Festival in Town.” During its first century, this event grew to be one of the largest of the local church festivals, and the tradition continues into its second century. This fantastic summer festival features a MegaBucks $5,000 grand prize drawing, a melting pot of South Omaha's favorite ethnic foods, beer, rides, prizes, and live music.

A single drawing for $5,000, a second prize of $500, and additional $100 prizes headline Omaha’s greatest summer church festival with continuous live music, providing an entire day of live entertainment. Other drawings include handmade quilts and afghans, meat raffles, “pickles”, along with numerous rides, games and events for children and the entire family.

Everyone is invited to bring hearty appetites to savor delicious ethnic foods, including Sts. Peter and Paul’s famous “sarma” (cabbage rolls), homemade Italian sausage and peppers, Polish sausage, bratwurst, BBQ lamb on a spit, tacos, and desserts from every corner of the world!

The women of the EPS Auxiliary invite you to the 14th Annual Breakfast for Life. Learn what it means to be on the front lines in the battle for life, while raising funds for Essential Pregnancy Services in support of women and their precious babies!

Join us on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, at the St. Vincent de Paul Parish Center to hear keynote speaker, Dr. Christina (Chris) Cirucci, provide insights on the dangers posed by chemical abortions and share how to navigate the deceptive narratives in the women’s reproductive health industry.

Essential Pregnancy Services provides life-affirming, holistic support to women experiencing unexpected or under-supported pregnancies.

Enjoy a special Mass, a social hour featuring wines from Willamette Valley Vineyards, and an amazing dinner including flat iron steak, potato au gratin, season vegetables, fresh bread, salad and cheesecake.

This unique fundraiser, sponsored by the Gretna Knights of Columbus Council #10047, will support the purchase of an ultrasound machine for Beginnings Pregnancy Center in O'Neill, Nebraska.

The Serra Club of West Omaha invites you to join us for a special Rosary for Vocations followed by a Holy Mass to pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and consecrated religious life within the Archdiocese of Omaha. The Rosary will begin at 5:00 PM and Mass is at 5:30 PM. Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Tom Weisbecker, Serra Chaplain, and Rev. Taylor Leffler, assisted by Deacons Joe Laird and Bob Hamilton. After Mass, join us in the Mainelli Center for a reception where Father Taylor will speak about The Eucharist: Presence, Sacrifice, Communion. All are welcome!

Calling all croppers, crafters, quilters, and artists! Join us for 13 hours of dedicated retreat time to work on your projects and engage in fellowship with other crafters, as well as shop at our vendor/consultant fair. Don’t forget to invite your friends!

Doors open at 8:45 am. Vendor Fair FREE and OPEN to the public from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (free will donation).

His Global Love Prayer Communities invite you to a Generational Healing Mass. Rosary at 6:15 p.m., praise and worship to follow. Mass at 7:00 p.m. Fr. Kevin Joyce from His Global Love Ministry will be presiding. All are welcome.

Come learn from Rosalyn Trumm and her husband, who have been on a seven-year journey learning how to live with Alzheimer's and Dementia. She will share her personal experiences of being a caretaker for her husband who lives with this awful disease along, with research and help available to others. Because of lessons learned and lifestyle changes made and implemented, her husband is more independent and functional.
