Couples are provided the opportunity for prayerful reflection and discussion of topics important to living the vocation of marriage within the context of the Catholic faith.

Topics include Communication, Sacramental Marriage, Marital Intimacy and Responsible Love, Challenges to the Vocation of Marriage, and Stewardship. This is a-2 day event. (This is not an overnight retreat, and no sessions will be occurring on the Wednesday in-between.)

FOCCUS: When you register for MAJ, you will automatically be registered for the FOCCUS pre-marriage inventory.

The monthly Holy Hour is on the second Thursday of every month at 7 pm at Our Lady of Lourdes church. It includes communal and silent prayer and the priest’s vocation story. Experience the blessings of adoration of Our Eucharistic Lord, benediction and music ministry. The May 12th hour will be lead by Fr Leitner, who was born in Noerdlingen, Germany. He is the administrator of the St Benedict Center in Schuyler, Nebraska, as well as a spiritual director, retreat facilitator and monastic vocation director. Hear how the Lord drew him to become a priest and Benedictine monk, how he was sent to Tanzania, East Africa to do missionary work, and more. Priests to lead future Holy Hours are June 9 Fr Andrew Roza, July 14 Fr Mark McKercher, August 11 Fr Ryan Lewis and September 8 Abbot Michael Liebl.

The Serra Club of West Omaha invites all the faithful to join us for a special Holy Hour for Ordinandi and Seminarians on Monday, May 16, at St. Cecilia Cathedral, 701 N. 40th Street in Omaha.  Join us in the Narthex at 6:30 PM for a Welcome Reception and at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary for the Holy Hour.  The Presider will be Father Frank Baumert, Senior Associate Pastor of St. Thomas More and St. Joan of Arc, and Chaplain of the Serra Club of West Omaha.

This special May 16 Holy Hour is in preparation for Priesthood Ordination on Saturday, June 4, at 10:00 AM at St. Cecilia Cathedral when Rev. Mr. Brett Jamrog and Rev.
