Joy of Giving - Incorporating Days of Giving into Your Annual Plan

11:00am - 12:30pm
Jane Eaves, Partner – Gonser Gerber LLP
Shannan Brommer, Director, Stewardship & Development Office – Archdiocese of Omaha

Days of giving can be highly effective ways to bring together parishioners, school parents, alumni, volunteers and friends to support your parish, school or ministry, but these potential donors must also be engaged and invited to participate in other ways throughout the year. Join Jane Eaves and Shannan Brommer as they explore annual plans. Topics will include why days of giving are important but best for the end of the fiscal year, how days of giving are a great way to engage new donors and finding the opportunity to ask for second gifts from donors who have already made a gift.

Who should attend: Pastors, parish and school stewardship and development staff and volunteers, school presidents and principals, parish and school communications and marketing staff, development committees and more.

Potential Outcomes of these webinars include:

  • A deeper understanding of and resources for Joy of Giving.

  • Tips and tools for technical support.

  • Day of Giving resources and strategies, especially regarding communications and marketing.

  • Best practices for 24-hour day of giving initiatives – how to best engage and activate your audience.
