This year, they will be showing the film Romero, which is about the recently canonized Saint Archbishop Oscar Romero and his non-violent revolution. Saint Oscar Romero was transformed into a committed leader who stood up against injustices and fought for the truth.
Along with the film, there will also be a few dynamic speakers that will be introducing the film. Dr. Tom Kelly from Creighton University will be speaking on October 1st and 3rd, and Tom Murray from Creighton Prep will be speaking with his wife Dr. Rebecca Murray from Creighton University on October 2nd.
Come and learn more about this amazing man who was a voice to voiceless and fought for truth and justice. Delicious food and drink will be available for purchase at Alamo as well!
