DESCRIPTION:A principal theme of St. Luke’s Gospel is mercy.

This is especially true during Lent. This retreat will center itself around the Gospel’s most famous discourse on God’s mercy, The Parable of the Prodigal Son/Father (Ch. 15). A brief overview of the theme of divine mercy and St. Luke’s Gospel will introduce our reflection. Consideration will also be given to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as a symbol of divine mercy.

Father James L. Secora, of Ames, Iowa, will lead the retreat, which begins Friday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m. and ends Sunday, March 16, after lunch.

Program fee is $8o. Rooms per night: single occupancy $52, double occupancy $43 per person. Meals: breakfast $9, lunch $13.30, supper $12.30. Sales and lodging tax are additional.
