DESCRIPTION:Knights of Columbus Council 11879 hopes that you will be our guest at the “Light Up For Christ” celebration! It’s a wonderful way to kick off the Christmas season and spread the joyful tidings of Christmas. Please join in the annual ceremonial blessing and lighting of the Nativity scene on Tuesday, December 4th at 6 PM. This is always a fun-filled evening! We meet in the Commons and proceed as a group out to the crèche (nativity scene) singing “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” as we go. Following the short formal ceremony led by Fr. Leo, we head back to the Commons where cookies, hot chocolate, coffee, and other beverages will be available. There will be activities for the children as Santa Claus and his elves make their way to visit. Why fight the traffic and long lines for the Mall Santa?
