DESCRIPTION:The program will feature the presentation of the St. John Vianney Award for Priestly Service to Archbishop George J. Lucas in recognition of his steadfast support of the IPF mission throughout his years here in Omaha. The program will also acquaint attendees with one of the most important features of the summer program for seminarians: the dedicated adjunct faculty and spiritual directors who join us each summer in Omaha. We’ll have a chance to hear from a few of these dedicated priests who, despite many commitments at home, choose to offer themselves to the service of the seminarians who join us each summer. Participants will have a chance to assist the Institute in “closing the gap” between the actual cost of the summer seminarian program and the tuition paid by dioceses.
