Father Meinrad Miller, OSB
Father Meinrad is a monk and Novice Master of St. Benedict’s Abbey in Atchison, KS. He also teaches a course in Benedictine Spirituality at Benedictine College.
Father Francis Valerio
Fr. Francis Valerio is a Catholic priest with the Archdiocese of Omaha in Nebraska. Ordained to the priesthood in 2006, he has been involved with private and preached retreats for both adults and youth, including parish missions throughout the country and has spoken at various conferences.
Currently living outside of Omaha, NE, his life consists of solitude, prayer, work and ministry. In the spirit of Pope John Paul II, he encourages the faithful to engage in the New Evangelization with both interior and exterior surrender to God’s Heart.
Fr. Francis is faithful to our Holy Father Pope Francis and the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
After studying at Franciscan University (B.S. 1987), Jim has been privileged to serve ever since with the Steubenville summer Youth Conferences, watching them grow from two events on campus, to more than 20 all over the country. He continues to stay connected with his roots at FUS and will forever be grateful for the formation he received there. Over the years Jim has also been blessed to be a part of Catholic Youth Ministry in numerous roles – Parish youth minister for more than 25 years, Director of Catechesis for the national Life Teen Program, Director of ImpactCenter, and founder and key architect of YDisciple.
Currently Jim is a Lecturer at the Augustine Institute, teaching the Discipleship and Leadership for the New Evangelization courses. He also works at the St. John Vianney Theological Seminary for the Archdiocese of Denver, where he runs a Leadership Institute for the Lay Division of Formation. There is fruitful overlap with the leadership and discipleship content he teaches at both institutions that is at the heart of the new evangelization and helping develop leaders in the Church with a true vision for renewal, and the practical skills to actually implement it.
Jim lives in the Denver area with his wife, Meg, and their five children: Aaron, Claire, Daniel, Jonathan and Brian.
